The Tumor That Healed Us

My grandmother was diagnosed at almost 82 years old. She was diagnosed after finding a tumor in her colorectal area. After finding out about this devastating news, it brought everyone together --both family and friends, in drastically changing our lifestyle. From the inside out, we all agreed--no to surgery, which was the first response of the doctor's office after giving my grandma the news that it was Stage 1 Colorectal Cancer.

"Don't worry, have it surgically removed and you will be all fine. The tumor is not growing and looks like surgery will take care of it."

--these words are very common conversations you will have with your doctor. Their suggestions, in your head are the most promising and only survival and cure you will get. What you don't hear them say is 'listen to your body', or 'have you tried changing your lifestyle into plant-based', let alone if they even spend time with you and understanding you, how you live. Instead, they slap you with a bunch of prescription medications and 'surgery'! 

For my 82 year old grandmother, considering surgery will be detrimental to her health. Her immune system will deteriorate, her rectum will be punctured, and God-knows-what will happen if she gets injected with a bunch of meds and toxic chemicals to remove the tumor. How will her body react if surgery happens, what are the side effects, what are the complications thereafter? So on and on and on... before you know it, you're hooked by the legal drug dealers who told you--just take this one hit.

Listen to your body. It's trying and have been trying to say something. It's probably whispering or even yelling "hey, just feed me right and I will work right. If you can, please quit with the toxins, it's tiring just living with that" 

So...that's what we did. 

Straight up holistic. Back to Mother Earth's perfectly designed foods that was created to heal humans. The holistic route was, reduce the toxins in my grandmother's body. The total detox by plant based juicing from anti-cancer fruits and vegetables. Her body responded so well, by Day 6, she forgot that she was actually diagnosed with cancer. The capital C, was merely background noise. I admire her discipline, her will to survive, her belief of healing herself from within, and her faith in God that THIS... this was all meant to be. In our hearts, this was the tumor that healed us. It healed us as a family. It brought us together like I've never imagined was going to happen to us. It was almost surreal. With the help of Camilla and Marni (where the first 14 days of detox occurred), we responded well. We put all our efforts of healing together, that this was a sign the universe was telling us--it's not too late, everyone is still alive and breathing, we can heal this together. My uncle in Germany stepped right in, and through internet-calling, his presence was well-known part of this healing journey too. My brother, Myles always believed in going 'green' and believed in natural cannabis as plant medicine is the way to heal. No to big pharma, he often exclaims. And of course, my mother, Amy. It was a complete healing experience for her both emotional, spiritual, and physical. She stepped right in, without question, completely focused on getting the job done--even with such a hectic schedule. She completed the list that we were given in order to continue all the way to 21 days of detoxing. We built our ozone machine which was amazing, and unbelievable! Truly Heal Ozone Therapy is a non-invasive way of healing compared to surgery. 

I am proud of our family coming together, I do believe this is key to any type of healing, it's with one another. The complete human connection we were meant to be on earth for, it's completely worth dying for. We don't make it out alive from this earth, make it worth your time to live fully and healthy by all means possible. Being holistic, it's not a fad diet--it is not a trend, it is here to stay and how it was originally designed for us in the first place. 

You have to believe that you can heal yourself first, everything else will fall right after. Remember, the universe is listening, but first--what are you telling it?
