Year End Musings

For every ending, is a wonderful beginning.
And it ends every 365, again and again. You know, all over again.

I saw Chris Wark's email pop in my inbox this morning while I was cleaning out junk mail, and he mentioned how 2018 was a great year. I believe so too. But what when he mentions that sometimes not all years are always good. There are the bad ones, this is true too...but he points out that "a bad year, is still a good one, it's another year to alive!" 

Then, it got me thinking--all these years, I'm not hard to please at all. I've experienced death in my family, and death from close friends too--indeed, that couldn't be a good one. But what it is, it's life.

We never make it out alive, the joy and beauty of this life is that--from the moment we get born, we are surviving to stay alive. Rules are made and orders are in place on this earth for the sole purpose of keeping us alive. But, with trying to stay alive--we also have to really LIVE. 

So, have yourself a very happy and safe New Year's celebration. Can you believe it, it's 2019. Back in the day, the modern day year was almost a myth. But here we are.
