The Harmony In Everything
For whatever annoys you, teaches you patience
For whatever angers you, teaches you forgiveness
For whatever overpowers you, teaches you to take your power back
For whatever you hate, teaches you compassion and humility
For whatever you can't control, teaches you to let go.
During my practice, my yoga teacher started and ended with these phrases.
It was all in the beginning, the learning, and in the end that we truly understand that life has harmony in it.
The beginning
The middle
and the way it's supposed to end, to be able to let go of each cycle to start fresh again.
It was simple, yet powerful and resonated with everything that I needed to start my day. Last night, I wanted to push myself to go do yoga right after work, and I'm glad I didn't. I was too exhausted and I listened to my body, and it needed to rest. So today, I feel awesome and great for having to let my body take the rest that it needed, what was important is that doing yoga this morning was everything.
For every push, you need a pull.
For every effort you need to rest.
For whatever angers you, teaches you forgiveness
For whatever overpowers you, teaches you to take your power back
For whatever you hate, teaches you compassion and humility
For whatever you can't control, teaches you to let go.
