We Are Not Our Past Nor Our Fears

We are so comfortable in our own space, doing our own little routines and old ways of going about our daily lives--we often brush away stepping out of this 'comfort zone'. Often times, we have wild dreams of trying this or overcoming fears, yet we stay cooped up in our couch--achieving social media networking, by likes and comments as much as we can while severely double tap our insta-likes, simultaneously managing the remote control in hand for background noise.

We take comfort in the familiar. We stay put, while the world revolves because it's easier.
We don't have to get stuck, we are not trees.
Now, aren't we all guilty of this little type of comfort here and there?

If we really want magic to happen, we need to create and pave the way to set the trend to change. We really need to realize that our past does not define our future in any way shape or form, AT ALL. We need to wake up and tell ourselves, 'Okay today--I'm going to be a writer' --then just start writing. Maybe be crazy enough to say, 'Today, I will publicly speak and teach a class!'--and just start speaking.

Now, we all may speak of this 'fear' that's keeping us from doing things we haven't tried before. But, that is just the key to it all, WE. HAVE. NOT. TRIED. IT. YET.

Do something that gives you the chills, try something you haven't tried before.

Then CRUSH it.
