Our Emotional Eating Habits

The reason behind our bad eating habits: EMOTIONS.
Whether you like it or not, the lack of awareness why we eat what we eat, it's all emotional distress. When your guards are down, the munchies go up.
It's hard if you're far into your cycle and the emotional roller coaster gets the best of you, you're doomed. You wake up cranky, cramping all over the place, and bloat city for days! Whut.

There are many reasons why we emotionally eat, but as a woman, this is one of them. Now, how do we deal? We recognize these emotions, acknowledge them (not by eating), and then understanding them by trying out methods in which will help us. You and only you will ever know how your body reacts. For example, I've discovered that when I'm approaching my cycle I tend to increase exercise in order to dodge the emotional roller coaster. It helps exponentially, enough-- that I forget when I'm about to have my period.

There are other instances for all of us, not just women that we tend to have our inhibitions lowered: WHEN DRINKING, and forget all the HIIT drills and Yoga Skills--we face the inevitable Pizza and Hot Wings. What do we do? We prepare for these nights and we conquer them. Don't chain yourself to restrain you from eating, but try to plan ahead and do not overdo them. The enemy is not junk food, it is our relationship with them. Do your research where you could expose yourself to good munchies over the bad ones.

Only your attitude towards food is the tiny step away from an emotional eater to a better party-planner!
