To be Zenned not Stressed

Mostly, our continued Zen is required on a daily basis. And just as most normal people of the industrialized, social-network browsing, text message-checking, and snap-chatting modern day person that you are, you need to channel the Zen in your stress-filled life.

But...

Do we really need the uncalled for unnecessary stress factored in our daily lives, or are these self-induced?

Ohm....

I recently came across the minimalist book and website with Ryan Nicodemus and Joshua Fields Millburn here, where you could learn a thing or two..or actually LESS. Mostly, what really stuck with me was the minimalism concept of our everyday lives. That less, is indeed more. More time, more space, more silence, more peace, more face to face relationships, with much much less stress.

So, why do we let ourselves drown in the everyday hustle and bustle? It has become the auto-response to waiting in line, hasn't it not? You grab your phone to pass  the time, maybe thinking it's going to be a lot less painful because now you have developed the "impatient" attribute to your many many characteristics.

And how did we get here?
Uncomfortable stuff, right?

And with all that said, can you believe that there is an app for that: Zen. Meditation and even breathing correctly. It cracks me up, that we have depended so badly on the things that were supposed to come naturally in our humanity.

And you know what, maybe that's okay?
Maybe it can remind us to get back to our senses, and to let go of what we do not need, and make use of the technology that may give us Zen.
After all, the most common mistake is that what humans make, not the latest update needed of your app, right?

Inhale the Zen, Exhale the Stress. Hit. Click. Send. Scroll, repeat.
